B-TECH IN CIVIL ENGINEERING

Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines and railways.
Civil Engineering is traditionally broken into a number of sub-disciplines. It is the second old engineering discipline after military engineering.

SCOPE AND CAREER PROSPECTS

Students can start their own business, training centers, raw material warehouse, etc. Many students can go for M.tech. after B.Tech. course. Students may go for various Govt. competition exams after B.Tech. Such as Air Force, CDS, IAS, SSC-CGL, Railways also. Students can chose to get jobs in their core program in various private companies. Job opportunities are available for CE graduates in Government as well as private sector.
